This is Jean Toomer he was a Harlem Renaissance Writer, he was also one of the most successful and well-known writers of this ear. In American Literature we were asked to create a blog and reasearch an author and the genre which they were a part of. I chose Jean Tommer because I was interested in the fact that he was a biracial author during Harlem Renaissance. This blog project also required that we write a creative protion in addition to our research protion. My creative protion is on poems which contain charateristics of the Harlem Reniassance.
